Pleasant museum with clear explanations about the history of the Douro wine and Port wine regions. Situated in the beautifully restored head office of the demarcation company. Nice archive film and photo footage.

Entrance including a glass of tawny port. Audio guide tours available, as well as visit packages with extended wine tasting or meals in inhouse bar and restaurant.

Easy access: 10-minute walk from the train station, and parking on the ground floor.
