Without a doubt one of the highlights of Amarante and one of the biggest markets of the Douro Verde.
The street market is held on the same day as the indoor market of Amarante and is situated beautifully along the river Tamêga.
Some vendors are located next to the mercado, but the major part of the street market you will find close to the Forest Park of Amarante.
Even if you don't like shopping, it's worth the visit!
