Impressive walk through the old coal mining area of Castelo do Paiva. In 2017 the area was hit by severe
forest
fires. After that, the walk was renewed.
It has some difficult stretches.
Take the time to admire the industrial heritage. Halfway along the route, you can walk a little further for refreshments at the bar in Pejão.
