Circular trail, starting and finishing in Nespereira.
Very difficult route, a good physical and technical preparation is advised.
This trail runs along old mountain paths, gravel roads of the windmill parks and a short distance on tarmac roads.
It starts with a more urban environment until the village of Lourosa, until then it has a long climb to the old mines of Fraga da Venda up on the mountains. From there the trail continues to N. Sra. Do Castelo.
A rock formation, which looks like a castle.
There's a little chapel and here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the entire region. You can even see the ocean on clear days. From this point, the route goes down to Nespereira.
