Circular trail, starting and finishing in the mountain bike centre in Gralheira.
It is a very difficult route, to which good physical and technical preparation is advised.
Gralheira is one of the highest villages in Portugal and nowadays a popular location for a (Sunday) family lunch.
The trail is centred around the higher part of the Bestança river, one of the cleanest rivers of Europe. It also passes the higher peaks of the Montemuro Mountains, offering fantastic views in the direction of the Estrela mountains and over de Bestança valley.
Especially the second half of this trail is beautiful and heavy! After 24km, in Fermentãos, at the crossing with the N321, is a nice restaurant/bar.
