The grandiose 'Festas de S. João', in the heart of the Castelo de Paiva, will be full of animation and celebrations for multiple days.
Every night, you can expect great shows from Portuguese popular artists. On the night of the 23rd of June, the traditional 'Marchas Popular' are held, with beautiful costumes, dances and performances of the local folk groups.
Traditionally, on 24 in the late afternoon, the municipality offers a free dish of grilled sardines and a glass of Vinho Verde wine to the residents and visitors of Castelo de Paiva.
