Get a sense of the Portuguese student life at this unique event! Some tunas come to Baião to compete with each other and enchant the audience. A 'tuna' is a group of students in academic costume who play traditional instruments and sing serenades.

At Friday-night the tunas present themselves in Baião with some serenades. And on Saturday afternoon they visit several parishes of Baião to warm up the audience for the main spectacle later in the evening: The real Tunance at the Monastry of Ancede, where the tunas compete with each other.
